hi – Weekend

Our hi – Weekend is comprised of:

Stelvio, Grossglockner, Nockalm…

  • one long weekend = one experience of a lifetime
  • arrival Friday pm in Munich
  • collection from Munich airport
  • introductory evening, next morning straight on the bikes
  • between 2 and 5 Alpine passes a day
  • we’ll take you to Munich airport for your return flight on Sunday late afternoon
  • all inclusive, all you have to pay for is your evening meal

Friday and Saturday

On Friday evening we have a little chat about how to ride in small groups and how to cope best with the challenges each and every hairpin bend poses. On Saturday we set off early to beat the rest of them to the top. We’ll ride to your heart’s content mastering the Alp’s most (in)famous passes while carefully avoiding anything that may look like rain or bad weather. There is time for the odd photo/cigarette/coffee break but don’t kid yourself, this is quite hard work, so we’ll aim to hit the hotel round about five or sixish to have a cold one and get ready for a decent meal.dolomites-20If you haven’t yet tasted typical Austrian or Italian cuisine (NOT the stuff you get at home) you’ve got something to look forward to. We’ll talk about our experiences eye to eye, give tips on how to improve your handling and conversely about your wishes for the next day and round off the evening in a homely atmosphere.

Sunday

After a decent breakfast to set ourselves up the the day we’ll set off again at a more reasonable time, round about tennish. Weather permitting we’ll take in more of the great names but don’t kid yourselves, there are so many small and unknown jewels waiting to be conquered that we’ll manage to challenge your skills without hitting a cold front.

Finally we’ll hit the Autobahn again to get you to Munich airport in time for your flight.

Our previous hi-weekend tours include the following:
